AEGIS Fire Sprinkler System Inspection and Service Technician

Duties include inspection, service, repair, preparation of repair price quotations, sales and replacement of sprinkler system components for established customers on a scheduled basis. Duties include, but are not limited to, servicing, inspecting, and testing sprinkler systems to the prescribed state and local codes and standards, performing on-site emergency troubleshooting, monitor programming, and repairs of our customers’ fire sprinkler systems, identifying code discrepancies and nonconformance issues, and preparing accurate and timely service tickets and reports. Duties may also include the installation of fire sprinkler system components.

Qualifications

  • Valid State Driver's License
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • N.I.C.E.T., FASA-BASA, or Other Fire Certifications & Experience Preferred
  • On-Call Availability When Scheduled

AEGIS Fire Sprinkler System Installer / Service Technician- Levels I–IV

Duties include installation, repair and maintenance of water based and dry fire sprinkler systems, fire pumps, system risers and valves and controls to maintain the highest level of customer service and satisfaction. Necessary skills include familiarity with steel pipe threading and grooving machines and plastic piping. Advanced levels II,III,IV require advanced capabilities including N.I.C.E.T. certifications, backflow test and repair certification and advanced system installation and functionality testing and the ability to maintain work records and to forecast and meet production schedules.

Qualifications

  • Valid State Driver's License
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Experience & Mechanical Aptitude Preferred
  • N.I.C.E.T. Certifications, F.A.S.T., TREEO, or Other Apprenticeships a Plus
  • On-Call Availability When Scheduled

AEGIS Fire Alarm Inspection and Service Technician

Duties include inspection, service, and repair; preparation of repair price quotations; sales and replacement of fire alarm and other electronic systems panels, systems components, and software for established customers on a scheduled basis. Duties include, but are not limited to, servicing, inspecting, and testing alarm systems to the prescribed state and local codes and standards; performing on-site emergency troubleshooting, programming, and repairs of our customers’ fire alarm and electronic systems; identifying code and non-conformance issues; and preparing accurate and timely service tickets and reports. Duties may also include the installation of fire alarm systems.

  • N.I.C.E.T., FASA-BASA or Other Fire Certifications & Experience Preferred
  • IT, Networks & Computer Background Preferred
  • On-Call Availability When Scheduled

AEGIS Fire Alarm and Electronic Systems Installation Technician

Duties include installation and programming of fire alarm and electronic systems, including cabling, terminating, mounting and testing of components. Additional duties may include performing on-site emergency troubleshooting, programming and repairing our customers' fire alarm systems; identifying code discrepancies and non-conformance issues; and making recommendations regarding system installations.

  • FASA-BASA Certification & Experience Preferred
  • Programming Knowledge Preferred
  • On-Call Availability When Scheduled

AEGIS Fire Kitchen Pre-Engineered Systems Technician

Duties include inspection, installation, maintenance and repair of kitchen hood fire suppression systems; identification of NFPA code discrepancies and non-conformance issues; on-site emergency troubleshooting and repairs; preparation of price quotations for repairs and systems; and maintenance, inspection, and repair documentation on all work performed.

  • N.I.C.E.T., FASA-BASA Certifications & State Portable Extinguisher & Pre-Engineered Suppression Systems Permits
  • Experience Preferred
  • On-Call Availability When Scheduled

AEGIS Fire Extinguisher Shop Technician- Levels I, II, III

Duties include receiving and processing orders; maintaining the organization of the warehouse; tracking orders and backorders; pulling orders; testing and refilling fire extinguishers and cylinders; and working with the shop foreman, division manager, and vendors to maintain the highest level of customer service and satisfaction. Advanced levels II and III require familiarity with CO2 and nitrogen charging, hydro-testing, and DOT requirements, as well as the ability to forecast and meet production schedules.

Qualifications

  • Valid State Driver's License (CDL Preferred)
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Experience & Mechanical Aptitude Preferred
  • State Fire College Attendance & Portable Permit a Plus
  • On-Call Availability When Scheduled

AEGIS Fire Systems Service and Inspections Scheduler

Duties include maintaining customer accounts and requirements for inspections; service and installation; and managing the scheduling, routing, and dispatching of the appropriate fire service inspectors, technicians, and installers. The position is responsible for improving customer satisfaction with our service delivery and the productivity of our technicians by delivering efficient and effective routing and dispatching on a consistent and timely basis. Job duties include working with department managers to schedule routes; contacting customers and preparing their schedules and requests; handling customer call-ins and maintaining our customer databases.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Customer Service Experience Required
  • MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook), & Acrobat Experience
  • Salesforce & GPS Routing Program Experience a Plus
